D&M Water Service
D&M Water Service, Inc., was formed in 1982 by Dale Leivestad and Monte Smith. In 1986 D&M purchased John’s Oilfield Service and expanded its area of operation to Baker in southeast Montana extending to the western Dakotas. In 1990 Dale purchased Monte’s share of the business. Then in 1992, he purchased the equipment and customer base from Bob Eiker of Eiker, Inc. This purchase expanded D&M Water Service into the Sidney area of Montana. Since this time D&M Water Service has greatly increased in size. With a count of over 30 employees and an ever-expanding fleet of equipment, D&M continues to grow to meet the increasing needs of its customers.

Petrocomp, a division of D&M, was formed in 1993. Petrocomp handles materials such as non-marketable crude oil produced from oilfield exploration and production and other exempt wastes produced from the Oil and Gas industry.
With the development and use of two Class II Disposal facilities strategically located in South Eastern Montana coupled with the development of a new Special waste site located in Southwest North Dakota, Petrocomp possesses the capabilities of giving it’s client base environmentally sound disposal solutions whether Solid or Liquid exempt wastes.
Petrocomp’s development as a leader in the waste management industry has only aided in the growth of the D&M Water Service team.

Precision Mainentance & Machine
Precision Maintenance & Machine was formed in 1997 as another division of D&M Water Service. Maintenance is a high priority to the trucking portion of our business. It can be a lifeline to keeping the equipment on the road and out in the field. D&M has added a new 4,500 square foot facility with a machine shop to increase it’s ability to sustain this ever-growing fleet. In addition to maintaining D&M’s fleet of equipment and taking care of commercial customers, the mechanics of Precision Maintenance and Machine are continuously involved in rigging up new equipment.

Little Missouri Special is a Solid Waste Landfill located south of Marmarth, North Dakota. For three years, Petrocomp; a division of D&M Water Service; has teamed up with the leading specialists in both the Compost and Special Waste industries to compile the most comprehensive plan that not only meets, but exceeds the North Dakota Department of Health regulations regarding Special Waste Landfills.
The Little Missouri Special facility is a needed solution to ensure the proper disposal of special waste produced by the oil and gas industry. The process includes separating solids from liquids BEFORE the waste ever enters the compost treatment facility. Strict testing will follow to confirm all solid waste complies with the North Dakota Department of Health regulations before being entombed in specially designed containers that are made of impermeable clay.
